Director

Peter has worked in the pharmaceutical and health care sectors for over 25 years.  He has held both scientific and management positions in a number of blue chip companies.   Most recently he was Associate Director CMC in AstraZeneca’s Antibiotics Business Unit.

A forward thinking individual with a successful track record in the delivery of early and late phase pharmaceutical development projects, Peter is knowledgeable and insightful with expertise in managing external partners, utilising internal resource, managing risk and communicating effectively to deliver against tight project deadlines.  Peter always seeks to engage stakeholders, provide clear strategy and deliver to time and quality

KEY SKILLS

• Technical Expertise – in-depth knowledge of the medicine development process, regulatory landscape, current best-practice and analytical technology.  Authored CMC modules for Phase I to NDA/MAA in EU, USA, China, Russia, Japan.
• Resource Utilisation – manages people and external partners, developing and mentoring others, both internally and externally.  Applies creativity, planning and budgeting skills to achieve resource optimisation.
• Risk management – navigates crises calmly by understanding the issues, rationalising appropriate actions, developing suitable solutions and providing alternative approaches.
